Excuse me for the stupid question,but is the Shea Stadium still in use..thats where the reall rock concert was invented..
As SC pointed out, it's currently used as the home field for the NEW YORK METS baseball team. However they are building a brand new stadium next door called Citi Field which is being modeled after the old Ebbetts Field, home of the old Brooklyn Dodgers before 1957.
So if you plan on coming to the states and seeing Shea Stadium, you have two years left to do so before they knock it down.
