As I said eariler, THE SICILIAN is his most thoughtful book. Your love for it is justified.

Giuliano was loved and the whole "Robin Hood" analogy with him is justified, whereas with Mafiosi, it is not. The good people of Sicily adore Giuliano, they despise the Mafiosi. That says it all.
