I had that in mind when I started; recall that the last line in the first section about Rocco mentions "The funeral of Fredo Corleone", but I guess I got sidetracked introducing all of the characters.
But when he makes the movie version, I'll change it around in the screenplay so FFC can open with a big 20 minute funeral mass scene.
