I dunno. You can make a case that too much time was given to Vito. But was the guy in the shop kind of "interested" in Vito?

Don't you get the impression that the writers are creating alot of loose ends: Carmela and the house and her father; Meadow and Finn (what was that bedroom scene all about?); Vito, of course; the Arabs; whacking Rusty; Junior; Chris and his boldness with Tony; don't forget Ade?
