Santino-I can definitely understand why you find some of the comments offensive....I dont see why is it not ok for African-Americans to want to be Italian but it is ok for Irish to want to be Italian.
Is it ok for Irish to want to be African-American (i know many people who fit that description-my sister included!) or for Italians to want to be African-American?
I dont think one can be justified and not the other.
