Actors, crew, directors, Paramount, etc. were disappointd with GF3.

Most of the remaining charcters from GF3 were killed off. The only ones remaining were Andew Hagen, Vincent, Anthony, Kay, Connie, Neri, B.J., Dom, Grace, Donkey Boy, and some of Vincent's Button men. Mike and Kay COULD return but I don't think it would be necessary. GF4 would most likely revolve around Vinny Mancini. I guess the OTHER Corleone/Hagen/Rizzi children could FINALLY return.

Our belove writer Mario Puzo died in 1999. Before he died he DID write ascrit for GF4, taking gplace in the 80's and 30's.
