Otherwise my film could be ripped off, lost, found, ripped off again, made into 6 sequels then remade 45 years down the line before my script is even delivered to me!
Actually, think of the case i'd have against them! 50 years down the line, the world finds out that the highest earning box office film was actually written by yours truly...
