I was actually thinking of that same poem, Lav. How ironic. Here is another anonymous poem that comes to mind. Inserted Paul's name.

Paul was tired and weary.
Weary from toil and pain.
Put aside his glasses.
He'll not need them again.
Into Heaven's gates he entered.
Never to sigh or weep.
After year's of life's struggles.
Paul has fallen asleep.

He bid none a last farewell.
He said goodbye to none.
His dear heart just ceased to beat.
And suddenly he was gone.

At a time when life could have been sweet.
He could have lived his best.
The gates of heaven opened.
And he entered into eternal rest.
