Among those convicted, Giancarlo Seidita , 20 years in prison, considered the regent of the district, took over from his cousin Giovanni Nicoletti , who died in 2020 from an illness. The sentence was issued this evening by the Gup of the Palermo court Angela Lo Piparo , who largely accepted the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate in the process called Intero mandamento, concerning the Noce and Cruillas gang, a mandamento which was reorganized after Nicoletti's death.
