Is there an official consensus for who had the quickest rise from being made to becoming a boss/acting boss or on a ruling panel. I want to rule out both John Gotti Sr. and Jr. since their rises were unnatural (with Sr forcing his way into the position and Jr only becoming boss due to nepotism). Other than those 2 the best contender I could find is Al D’Arco being made in 82 and becoming acting boss by 1991.

Is there anyone with a shorter rise to the top spot that didn’t involve nepotism or violent takeovers?

I thought maybe Vincent Basciano since I couldn’t find a consensus on when he was made
