Ouimet played a key role in the internal reorganization following Operation Spring 2001, which wiped the Hells Angels Nomads and their shock team of Rockers. Called to take over, Ouimet and his alter ego Mario Brouillette supplied cocaine sellers in downtown Montreal through Syndicate, a subsidiary of street gangs.
