Fugitive Belgian criminal Koen van S. arrested in Spain !

Spanish police have arrested a fugitive Belgian criminal in Rojales (Alicante) who was wanted by Belgian and Dutch authorities. He was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2018 for the kidnapping and torture of a Dutch florist.

Koen Van S. (45), former leader of the infamous Gang of 700 million, was sentenced to seven years in prison in Antwerp in 2018 for the kidnapping and hostage-taking of Dutch florist and drug trafficker Johannes W. Van S. was already incarcerated in Netherlands, because he was arrested near Breda in April 2017 with 3 kilos of speed and 5,000 euros in cash.

In collaboration with the Spanish police, the investigative services managed to trace him to a luxury villa in the city of Rojales (Alicante) where he lived with his family. He was arrested when he left his home.

According to the Spanish police, Koen van S is part of a criminal organization that is active throughout Europe and has ties to the Italian mafia clan 'Ndrangheta. Van S. is considered 'very violent and dangerous' by the European authorities.
