Deadly ambush in the evening in Cetraro. A man, Alessandro Cataldo, 46 years old with a criminal record, was murdered in the port area of the Tyrrhenian town of Cosenza by a hitman who fired four gunshots at the man. To then disappear in a car in which there would have been an accomplice. The murder in front of a pizzeria in the area which is believed to be owned by the family.

Alessandro Cataldo, the victim of the ambush, ended up at the center of the Anti-Mafia Operation “Overloading” , coordinated by the Catanzaro District. In the investigation carried out against drug trafficking along the Tyrrhenian coast of Cosenza, the 46-year-old was convicted. This is the mega operation against a cartel that was apparently headed by the Muto clan, the historic 'Ndrangheta gang of Cetraro
