Kaitlyn Dever stars as Brynn, an ostracized member of her local community, who soon experiences UFO encounters and attempted abductions. The meat of the character and the trauma/baggage she's carrying isn't revealed until the bitter end, but by then it's too late. The audience isn't invested enough in her and unfortunately, Kaitlyn Dever is capable of so much more. Regrettable, she's handed a weak script and is asked to turn water into wine, which, even by her own capabilities, she's unable to do. The story is limp, offering not a lot of dialogue so most of Kaitlyn's performance is nonverbal. And while that's not a problem for this actress, it isn't enough to keep the audience engaged. 3/10

Wife and I enjoyed it being inthralled in the possibilities of confronting aliens.
Creepy and solidly eventful.
This movie is almost realistic to what an alien encounter or after life guilty repentance could be like.
Dever did a great piece of work here.

The aliens have shown there is no punishment other than what is in your own mind.
