When he was arrested Montreal Gazette mentioned Martin Daze is close to the Hells Angels and Mafia but didn't specifically name anyone. The Gazette also wrote his name as Patrick Daze and oddly still haven't changed it to Martin Daze. Maybe Giuseppe Focarazzo wasn't specifically named since he wasn't involved in the investigation or they didn't want to continue writing the same info over.

In the March 2022 articles that came out when his house and Frederic Lavie's houses were searched LaPresse did write of Martin Daze's association with Giuseppe Focarazzo.

I get the point you're making but I would agree you're probably reading too much into it. A lot of associations go unreported in articles even close ones and on the other side of that a lot of associations go into these articles even if they're distant or dated.
