Yes, I've noticed with Italians and their surnames they almost all hail from the same region of Italy. In other words, Colosimo probably originated in Calabria and Cosenza in particular. Crazy when you think about it. I'm sure it's the same with other ethnicities as well.
I have also seen the rare name ioele in investigations so there could be link with Frankie Yale (Ioele). Like James Colosimo he was from Cosenza.
