Trump sued for election fraud
Former US President Donald Trump is indicted for his attempts to thwart the 2020 election results, including his role in the storming of the US House of Representatives on January 6, 2021.
The election was won by current President Biden.
Trump's claims that he won the election were "false, and Trump knew it," prosecutors said. Trump has been indicted on four counts.
This includes a conspiracy to block an official procedure, namely the confirmation of the election results.
