Europol on Tuesday morning gave an overview of the ongoing investigations into the Encrochat hack, by the French and Dutch police, in 2020.

The dismantling of EncroChat has led to 6,558 arrests worldwide, according to Europol. To date, this has led to a total of 7,134 years in prison.

739.7 million euros in cash was seized. 145.1 million euros in bank balances were frozen.

Furthermore, the joint European police forces seized 30.5 million worth of chemical drugs (pills), 103.5 tons of cocaine, 163.4 tons of cannabis and 3.3 tons of heroin.

In addition, 971 vehicles, 271 buildings and homes, 923 weapons, 21,750 rounds of ammunition and 68 explosives were seized. The police also seized 83 boats and 40 aircraft from suspected criminals.
