The Alessandrino ambush to kill two brothers: Diabolik's killer sentenced to 12 years
Calderon, already tried for the murder of Fabrizio Piscitelli and Selavdi Shehaj, was convicted of the attempted murder of Emanuele and Alessio Costantino

Raul Esteban Calderon , the man accused of killing Fabrizio Piscitelli , known as 'Diabolik', has been sentenced to 12 years in prison, abbreviated for the attempted double murder of the brothers Emanuele and Alessio Costantino which took place on 13 July 2021. An attack failed occurred in the Alessandrino district.

Calderon, who is on trial not only for the crime of 'Diabolik' but also for that of Selavdi Shehaj known as 'Passerotto' , had been reached by the magistrate's order after the investigation by the district anti-mafia directorate of Rome in January 2022 together with Giuseppe Molisso , 40-year-old multiple offender.

The investigations, carried out by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Nucleus of Rome through stalking and environmental and telephone interceptions, had made it possible to reconstruct the motive ( attributable to disagreements which arose following the beating of a nephew of Molisso ), the dynamics of the crime, the ways in which the killer had been assigned, identified in Raul Esteban Calderon.

''The murder of Diabolik was the same, it was up to me! Identical '', said Emanuele Costantino, victim of the attempted double homicide with his brother, in a conversation intercepted and reported in the order with which the investigating judge had validated the arrest, issued by the DDA, of Giuseppe Molisso. The gup of Rome in sentencing Calderon to 12 years has excluded the aggravating circumstance of the mafia method. The prosecutor had asked for a 16-year sentence for the Argentine.
