You don't hear that much about the Fasciani clan abroad, but they seem to be powerful. They came to Rome from L'Aquila, but unlike the other big Abruzzo clans Casamonica and Spada they're allegedly not of gypsy origin. The way I read it they drove the Triassi - a Sicilian family close to Cuntrera-Caruana - out of business.
