I didn't know much about the case beforehand (I just knew she was convicted in the court of public opinion of killing her 3-year-old daughter). However, the documentary changed my mind about it.


A lawyer friend of mine schooled me on that case a few years back. Like the rest of the world I had been drinking the media Kool-Aid, totally on board with the idea that Casey Anthony was a horrible human who deserved the death penalty. There is no doubt in my mind that she and her kid were abused by her monster of a father. I've not seen the documentary, but I have a feeling it will change A LOT of peoples minds, thankfully. A couple of friends of mine have came around as well. I can't even begin to imagine what that woman has gone through.


I agree, the media storm is what did it for me (that and the allegations against her father).
