I'd done this once before in my life but it's been probably over 10 years since I did it last. I've had the itch recently and will begin having the time to rewatch the original 1998 AFI Top 100 Movie List. It was updated 10 years later with some new additions while taking some away and I'll watch those as well as not all of those films I've seen either.

100. YANKEE DOODLE DANDY (1942)

A wonderful and patriotic film. We could use more films like this today, save for the signing and dancing maybe. I'm not much of a fan of musicals but James Cagney put on a show and man could he dance! Glad to see he won an Oscar out of this too. I also want to mention that at least to me, Patsy Parsons who plays a 12-year-old version of George's sister Josie bore a pretty decent resemblance to Shirley Temple (at least to me). 7/10
