Francesco Grande Aracri «is the concretized symbol, the maximum apex of the 'Ndrangheta in Emilia and dictates its strategies . All the associates have conformed. He modeled the 'Ndrangheta on this territory in forms that could proliferate , in every sector, especially the economic one. He decided that the most brutal demonstrations should be put aside, transferred to other territories which would unfortunately have better absorbed the violent strategies ».\
This was underlined by the public prosecutor of the Dda of Bologna Beatrice Ronchi in the first part of her indictment of the "Grimilde" trial, underway in Reggio Emilia for 22 defendants, including the boss of the family of Cutrese origin and his son Paolo. At the center there are the infiltrations of the clans in the region and in particular the situation of Brescello, the first and only municipality dissolved by mafia in Emilia-Romagna. For Ronchi «Emilia would not have digested sensational actions, they had to speak the same language. That of wealth obtained through shortcuts - a language that Emilian could understand - blending into civil society ». The prosecutor recalled that the reasons of the Supreme Court on the "Aemilia" maxi-trial have recently come out, attesting to the phenomenon of the Emilian 'Ndrangheta as an «autonomous mafia group supported by a large number of men and means».
