There is a new repentant in the 'Ndrangheta clans of Scilla, in the Reggio area. This is Carmelo Cimarosa, 36, the first declarations of which have already been filed by the Dda of Reggio Calabria in the Lampetra trial against a group of alleged affiliates of the same clans. The same criminal groups were at the center of the New Line investigation conducted by the Dda Reggio itself and which last Thursday led to the arrest of 22 people linked, in various ways, according to the accusation, to the Nasone-Gaietti clan. Among them the municipal councilor Girolamo Paladino, placed under house arrest.

Cimarosa's collaboration with justice also produced its effects in the Nuova linea investigation itself. The new repentant referred, in particular, to the alleged boss Giuseppe Fulco, arrested in the same operation on 8 September last and indicated by the repentant as "the head of the clan" during the deposition made before the deputy prosecutor of the Reggio Dda Walter Ignazitto .
