Pennisi's induction was brought forward because the Lucchese family feared the Genoveses wouldntry to hurt them on the sneak over the incident with Balsamo at the strip club. The Genovese family claimed he misrepresented himself as a made guy but the Lucchese family was of the opinion he did nothing wrong, and if he did it wouldn't matter because he was proposed anyway.
