The airlines laid off or gave early retirement to thousands of pilots, crew and other staff to reduce losses during the worst of Covid. Now the greedy bastards book thousands of flights that they know will never leave the ground because of crew shortages; blame cancellations on "bad weather" so they won't have to give you cash refunds--and they don't give a s**t about how many hours--or days--you're stranded at the airport waiting to get out.
