What a dinner out 2 nite...went 2 Collingswood N.J. where a buddy chef owns SAPORI Italian Trattatoria 4 the last 20 some yrs...was treated like royalty..1rst course , Beef tenderloin carpaccio , w/ shaved Parmesan Reggiano & baby rucula salad & fig lemon vinegarette ....Grilled Sardines over white truffle foamed butter.w/ crostini.///...2 nd course..the Wife had home fettucini w/ Imported real fresh porcini mushrooms (hard 2 get) from Italy w/ homemade fennel sausage in a creamy white wine & veal stock reduction/////I had THE BEST MEAL in a LONG TIME...Pork cheeks so f...ing tender ...the meat was like BUTTER..in a fresh english pea , purple carrot , & pearl cous-cous ragout...OMG.THE Most tender meat I ever had....& coming from me..that's alot...2 round it off , was the freshest Cannolli's on the house w/ a shot of pink grapefruit limencello...free parking as well..very Sicilian , very GOOD !!!
