The boss of the 'Ndrangheta Nicola Arena, head of the homonymous clan of Isola Capo Rizzuto, considered among the most powerful of the Calabrian criminal organization, has died. Arena, who was 85 years old and had been ill for some time, died in his home where he lived as a free person, having served all the sentences that had been imposed on him. Funeral at dawn on Sunday and without a procession: the commissioner of Crotone, Marco Giambra, ordered it for reasons of public order.
