CHERNOBYL DIARIES (2012)

A group of carefree twenty-somethings, vacationing in Kiev, sign up for an "extreme tour" with a local guide who says he can get them into Pripyat, the town abandoned after the Chernobyl reactor meltdown in '86. Guards block them, but the driver takes them in via a hidden entrance. They have an interesting time in the eerily abandoned ruins, but when it's time to go, the van has been sabotaged, and as night falls, they learn to their horror that they're not alone.

You could call this the Eastern European "Blair Witch Project" except that it's better filmed (color) in authentic, abandoned Soviet-era military bases. It's tense, often gripping, as the unseen forces reduce the tourists' numbers and they get more and more terrified. The ending is kinda lame, but getting there was most of the fun.
