The great French actor
Jean-Paul Belmondo died September 6 at age 88. He virtually personified French New Wave cinema in the 50's and 60's.
Also, actor/comedian
Art Metrano died September 8, age 84. He was known for his stand-up act as well as appearances in the "Police Academy" film series. His career was severely curtailed in 1989 when a devastating accident temporarily left him a near-quadriplegic. He later turned his experience into a one-man show that he performed from a motorized wheelchair.
Nobody picked either one of them.
