Fascinating, but ultimately, very sad because you knew how things ended up. We always watched Anthony Bourdain's shows and were shocked when he committed suicide. Such a shame, even though it seems he had been doing a dance with death for some time.

Two things that troubled us - the film seemed to make a case (possibly unfairly) that Asia Argento was what sent him over the edge into taking his life (she was not interviewed for the film), and the revelation that some of the Bourdain voice-overs were actually AI computer re-creations, and not Bourdain.

Still, even with those caveats, I would recommend the film. Absolutely.

Heard of this, thanks for sharing your thoughts...I feel this will be sad and dark to watch knowing like you said "how things ended".

I will be viewing as well since I was a fan reading his books and watching his shows.
