FEAR STREET PART III: 1666

The concluding chapter of the FEAR STREET series goes back to where it all started: Shadyside 1666, when the town was first being settled. Kiana Madiera plays the role of Sarah Fier, the witch who haunts her town and attempts to rewrite history and break the witch's curse over Shadyside. All of the characters from the first two films are back playing various roles. For half of the film, it plays as a well done period piece/thriller, before the known events begin to take shape onscreen. For a brief period of time there is the question of who made the deal with Satan and not a bad reveal of said person. The story then switches gears and returns back to 1994 to finish out what was originally started in the first film. Impressive performances by up-and-comers Kiara and co-star/love interest Olivia Scott Welch. Overall, an enjoyable B level series that had a decent marketing push but will probably be soon forgotten. I did enjoy the fact Netflix released each film only a week apart from one another and my final rankings would be 1994, 1666, 1978. 6.5/10
