Since he is a 'pentito' maybe someone finds him and gets the job done. But i doubt it there is anyone from that time period looking for revenge on him.
Yes I believe his life is in danger some people in power are now nervous. Ok he collaborated, but the truth about the massacres is still unknown. After Falcone there have been many repentants, but we still do not know the truth. We know who the executors are but not the principals.
