Given that for a lot of the more historical figures (Castellano, Ruggiero, Sonny Black, Henry Hill) most of the principal figures are long dead, why aren't more tapes publicly available?
You figure LITERALLY every single Nixon tape is available now. So why not for these guys?
Because the President affects everyone in the country and around the world. Anything a President says is more consequential than some wiseguys having a sitdown about figuring out what family some bookie belongs to.
