Once you plead guilty to a crime and the judge accepts the plea you go to sentencing and your defense lawyer cannot argue anymore law or facts of the case, just try to help u get the least amount of time. In some cases u can plead guilty to some charges in an indictment and not others but in oc cases thats rare bc every charge is usually wrapped into an overall racketeering charge as being committed in furtherance of the continuing criminal enterprise.
