I'm sure it was just a cliffhanger for the next episode.
I thought the same but it doesn't seem that way..If you have to pay to see the whole video, I'll unsubscribe from his channel !!
He releases short stories randomly during the week and on Fridays he releases his official podcast. You can pay to get it on Tuesday commercial free or just wait till Friday for free on YouTube. I'd be surprised if he doesn't finish that story. It was a great one.
