The Prevention Measures section of the Court of Palermo, at the request of the District Anti-Mafi Directorate, seized the assets of 150 million euros of the entrepreneur Carmelo Lucchese , 53, owner of thirteen supermarkets in Palermo and the province.

Lucchese is accused of having had the support of the Bagheria mafia to expand his economic empire and also of having procured an apartment to give refuge to Bernardo Provenzano.
