Northern Italian cities like Milan and Turin have had a more multi-ethnic gangland for years now. When it comes to foreign organized crime, Nigerians, Albanians and Chinese are by far the most prevalent. Chinese and Albanians mostly stick to their own communities though; Nigerians push drugs everywhere though.

I don't think anyone is "challenging" the Italian OC groups and I don't think the Italian OC groups really care about the activities of the Chinese, Albanians or Nigerians. If anything, in Europe there is more cooperation between different kind of OC groups and there isn't really recent evidence of any confrontations.
