Looking over The Gotti Tapes, Gotti himself said that the "best I ever did was go on a few hijackings" and that he never had much money. He was being modest, but it shows he was never a major earner. He also admits to not understanding some rackets and that he just takes Sammy's word for it. He tells a funny story about how Joe Piney was trying to explain a business deal to him, but Piney didn't really understand it either. So they were both discussing it, but neither of them understood what they were talking about. But like Lenox said, Gotti had an X factor that made people like him and follow him.

Back to the original topic though, this latest video is kinda disappointing. None of these guys are ever 100% honest, but Gravano didn't seem to be just making shit up. Now that's changed. FBI debriefings, testimony, interviews and an entire book and Gravano never mentioned Gotti ordering him to kill Chin. That would be a big deal that you wouldn't exclude.
