Via media Escobar publicly offered Musk to settle the dispute for $100 million, in cash or shares of Tesla, or alternatively to use the legal system to become the new CEO of Tesla, Inc.[10]

In December 2019, Escobar announced a folding phone, the Escobar Fold 1. The phone was priced at $349. Escobar said "I have told many people that I will defeat Apple — and I will". He claimed that it can only be destroyed by fire.[11][12] Two months later, on February 10, 2020, the Escobar Fold 2 was released, which is reportedly a Galaxy Fold with poorly-added Escobar branding.[13][14] Many customers, when ordering the phones, said that they never received them, with only tech influencers actually receiving products.[15][16] It has also been alleged that Escobar Inc sent bogus product orders consisting of a book, allowing Escobar Inc to claim the phone had been delivered.[15] In May 2020, the company released a refurbished version of the iPhone 11 Pro and allegedly sued Apple for $2.6 billion.[16]

An anti-Trump gofundme page, his own cell phone that would topple Apple's i-phone and failed, and making hitter home a tourist attraction---now these are truly crazy characters. Plus he is suing Apple for 2 billion dollars. They should get a reality show.

Drug Barons Can’t Be Trademarked, EU Court Tells Escobar Brother

(Bloomberg) -- Pablo Escobar, the name of the late Colombian drug kingpin, can’t be registered as a trademark in the European Union after judges said that approving his brother’s bid would go against “principles of morality.”

The public “associate that name with drug trafficking and narco-terrorism and with the crimes and suffering resulting therefrom, rather than with his possible good deeds in favor of the poor in Colombia,” the EU’s General Court in Luxembourg said on Wednesday.

Trademarking the name is “counter to the fundamental values and moral standards prevailing within Spanish society,” the court said.

Escobar’s brother, Roberto de Jesús Escobar Gaviria, applied to register “Pablo Escobar” as an EU trademark for goods and services with the European Union Intellectual Property Office in 2021. He founded Escobar Inc. in 2015, a company which currently sells cryptocurrency “Escobar cash” on its website.

In the past, the company has been accused of selling mobile phones that were never delivered to customers.
