What evidence do you have to back up the Lucchese Family held a making ceremony in Feb 76?

I think Gambino was dead set against opening the books and with big paul basically being the acting boss around 74 75 till carlo dies they obeyed his wishes. But the genovese family didnt bow down to his wishes and probaly with tony ducks made a handful of guys. We know tom dibella was a Gambino guy so he probaly didnt want to rock the boat and the bonanno were just getting there footing back in 74 with rastelli becoming boss

The genovese and luchese deffinlty opened the books for new guys in 74. I dont think dibella or rastelli had any vote between the 3 families. And gambinos probaly just was out voted. Did anthony tumac also say he was inducted in 74 or 77 in the luchese family I remember reading one of those years. If someone can confirm tony ducks was boss and on the street in 1974 my theory will make sense. Him and fat tony where close. Fat tony in 1974 was either underboss or consig. Been reading this organized crime 5 families stuff for awhile the debate always comes down to did the luchese and genovese family open the books for the disco fever dudes in 74. Yes Di Bernardo was a big earner. He was a savvy businessman as well as a street guy. He also had a piece of a small disco/club that we used to frequent back in the late 1980s in the Five towns as well. I don't remember the name but I was told that he was involved.

He was into construction, business, real estate, etc., he was no fool.

You typically hear 75', then 76'. some say 77'..... a few say the end of 74'

I truly believe a few could have gotten it in late 74' on the down low quietly.

But to my personal knowledge. And of this I am 100% certain on. In fact, make it 200% certain. There were a bunch of guys (some say 10 in each of the Five Families), who got the badge by 1975.

I do not remember what time of the year it was, spring, summer, fall, etc, but I know for certain that the year was "1975" because several people close to me got it. This is a thing I will never forget.

Only others that have claimed weren't documented but in their own words. Fish cafaro and George Barone in the Genovese 1974. Gaspipes Casso in the Lucchese Family 1974 and Mike Franzese in the Colombo Family Halloween 1975. And all the facts and guys Mike says he.was made with line up with Halloween 1978. The Fall after the spring murder of Americus Scotese. I'm not saying it was impossible but out of the thousands of documents and books I've read for the past 25 years I don't have any concrete evidence that any happened. I once thought Franzese couldn't have gotten his making date wrong until I saw this article and re-read his book again.

The only reason why I mentioned about the houses was because YOU brought it up trying to make a point (look at our previous discussions). I was just addressing each point you made.

To address you other points; 1) Brocchini was NOT a Gambino, but affiliated with the Lucchese Family. 2) as Furio said Joe was suspected to have made in early 1976 and then Joe was murdered shortly thereafter. 3) The homes DO NOT make the bigger mobster, but at THAT period in time Demeo hadn't yet become "Demeo". He was still only starting out and not truly established with the inter. car theft ring, drugs, etc. Brocchini was already a multi-millionaire many times over (Fact). and a major player 4) an as Furio also aptly observed many old-timers like Dellacroce etc., lived in modest homes regardless of wealth. The younger guys? Not so much.

And as for your last accusation? About whether I really have "any idea" or do I just "copy and paste info" onto my website? LOL

I will say one thing ColonelReb, and you can take this to the bank. The vast majority of info on my website, especially about when talking about NY, NJ, and FL, is 70% all me. I don't even need to crack a book, or do a Google search.

If you are a "mob aficionado", which I'd imagine you are if you visit forums like this, and my site. Then you shouldn't even have to pose a silly question like that. Ok.

Don't you know? Can't you tell, that much of what I write is extremely singular information? Do you really think I pulled a lot of that stuff from the net? or a book?

If so please produce that book so we can all see it.

PS: I also know much more than I sometimes put down on paper understand? Because at the end of the day certain things I feel are still not open for discussion.You might fall off your chair if you knew a bit more about me. I NEVER talk out of my ass.
