Tomorrow the jury will begin their fourth day of deliberations in the murder trial of former NELCN boss Frank Salemme and associate Paul Weadick. The jury is asking for transcripts of testimony from the Deluca brothers who are made members of LCN and now cooperating witnesses. The jury must be unanimously in favor of guilt for Salemme and Weadick to be convicted.
Could Salemme and Weadick beat the government in this case?

Investigative journalist and author Tim White of WPRI TV in Rhode Island has a good story tonight on the trial- he has been in the federal court every day of the trial.
I think he "does" beat the Feds in this case. After the disaster of the DeLuca brothers testimony and of course Flemmi's bomb, I'd be very surprised if him and Weadick are convicted. Bobby's brother claims he had his epiphany while searching for mushrooms and all of a sudden remember what happened, then the recorded phone conversations where they talk about getting their story right and then of course when the Flemmi Show comes to town it's a pure clownshow.
The jury has proved already this won't be no quick resolution. I could easily see it going 2 more weeks...
