After reading the recent article with Baby Dom being named AC of Lancelotti crew is it safe to say that Mikey Lance is now playing a Acting Consigliere role based on the articles sense of it stating he's looking after day to day things as a whole?

Baby Dom was acting for Lancelotti while he was battling cancer. Since 2015, there have been people saying that Lancelotti has been taken a more hands on in the family, and seems to be on gold terms with Phil, which would make sense that he might be in an acting administration position.

Have been posting for years that Lance has the crew and it stretches from as far south jersey to Toms River to Philly and possibly more .

Dom has been a asset to him and been very busy .

You know what's crazy
They love this guy
He is the future of the family
He is already being groomed for admin

Why use him as the trigger in that senseless hit

I mean you have Nicedemo now off the streets for 30 years

Even if it was Nicidemo's idea the the older men should have known better and orders a hosiptal beating..

Hindsight is 20-20

But that was just plain stupid

I have my own theory about that hit

Skinny just got out

When ever a boss wants to exert his authority
Murder and a body in the street is best way

You had all those Scarfo guys that just got out or were getting out.

There was speculation who is the real boss.

So Skinny gets out

And there is a hit that has similaralalities to the Scarfo Jr hit that he took over the family with.

Broad day light with a mask in a crowded place.

Only Skiiny would.have the balls to do that and get away with it.

So it was like his signature to let everyone know
In am back and I am still playing for keeps

So when he is telling people to kick up
In the back of their minds they know Skinny is willing to risk it all.

Long John was hit by Ligambi to st in keep everyone in line.
When Basciano took over the Bonanno's he took Pizzulo to exert his authority over everyone

That is my opinion

Any one agree?

Not just that ! The acting boss was on trial for his life at his age and right at worst time this hit goes down .

Some crazy shit ! I wonder if we will ever find out the real truth behind that.

I agree....there could be so many speculations as to why and how that hit went down the way it did the timeframe does a play a huge role in the whole situation also I think Nics wanted to say hello in his own way also being that they got into a argument prior to that hit happening ... I think when Nics seen him he said you know what fuck this piece of shit you think your somebody well I'm gonna show you your a nobody and boom said fuck it I'm gonna hit this prick rite here rite now Baby Dom is my best friend he will take care of my family while I'm gone and when I come back my boy Dom is gonna be king of the hill in Philly and we're gonna live like Kings lol .... I'm just venting a little bit .... I just wanna see Nics and Don on the street again together making Philly proud

if dom was in on it..keep in mind, he was what, 33? so not 38 and groomed as of yet, so as far as using him to exert force at that age, its cuz he was young, trusted, and maybe still needed to prove it..again, if....far as the rest of what is said there, i think its a helluva theory...i will say, my guess is joe and george were fighting for their lives and were probably sick about it..but the theory sounds real good

Uncle Joe and the whole admin
We're on trial

No way uncle Joe Sanctioned that hit

Hard to figure out

As for thinking Dom was going to take care of his family

If he was the shooter
He took more of a risk than Nicedemo

These guys with these sloppy hits
I mean I can't imagine he is saying to himself I can't believe I got caught?

Bent Finger Lou lives on the Jersey shore. He probably knows hanging around Philadelphia could get him in trouble.

Jersey Shore is still very ballzy
From what I read Borgeesi is a shooter and has a handful of notches

Yes and the guys under if they want to impress him.....

That is someway to live

Everytime you see car creeping slow coming towards you..
If you see a guy parked across the street..

Hear foot steps behind you..

Is this it
???

He didn't do a whole lot of damage though. Borgesi and Ligambi were going to have their bail revoked for there first trial regardless, so Lou didn't burry them in any real way. It wouldn't be worth the heat from LE to order his murder. However hanging around a mob area could mean a severe beating if he bumps into any underlings.

Not just that back in the day there would of been a open contract on anyone that testified, nowadays fucking guy can come to a party with people on the fringe and nothing will happen.

40 years ago he would not make it through the first drink.

“ Strange “ I was in a building I am buying in AC and who walked in I have not seen in years Mike Rossman the light heavyweight champ “ did not know any locals were left in AC . He is half jewish and half Italian took the Jewish name from his mother for fighting purposes but we would go see everyone of his fights I think his first was here in AC at the Convention center on the boardwalk back in the early 70s he looks good and still in shape.

He was a lot of fun to be around when he was not training he reminded me of the Blade when he would let lose and pick up the bottle he was born on Mississippi ave. Ducktown.

I hear what you are saying from a logical and a business perspective.

Look at Depietro, Deligatti, Meldish, Pizzulo

None of those hits or attempted hits really made any sense at all.

There are guys out there that will take a shot and there are seasoned leaders like Stevie Wonder that will still order a senseless murder.

Did they have to kill Meldish, they couldn't have just sent him to the hospital a few times and run him out of town?
Every time my guys hear you are in town you are talking a trip to the hosiptial??

My point is could you ever really 100% count it out?

Why would they make Dom acting capo and not Albert?

No one calls him ‘Baby Dom’, that’s a joke. And as for as bent finger goes, the only person he should be scared of is Borgesi. And I’m sure as shit he is scared of Borgesi.

Dave Salvo (Ligambi & Borgesi associate, possibly recently made) at The Safety Group Press Conference in Philly in 2017. The Safety Group is a joint Genovese and Philly Family backed construction safety company. Rooster O'nofrio had an FBI Undercover on a no-show job there and came down to Philly prior to the Philly office opening/launch, which apparently Borgesi was running for Merlino.

Hoodlum

I don't feel so young but I realize that is a relative to whom you are speaking with
LOL

Yes since childhood

In the belly of beast

To give you an idea of what it was like:

Bronx Tale was about as close as you could get to the real thing.

1) With C, living within close proximity to a hang-out or club, the olderguys taking a liking to the GOOD KID and watching out for him and taking him under their wing.
2) Then growing up a little bit and the older guys schooling you, us kids looking up to those guys like they were GODS,
3) The younger guys trying to imitate and impress the older guys, they start asking for small favors, a broken window, slashed tire, and we were so happy to do it just to get their attetieion. The problem with that was the older you got the more serious the favors got... Steel a car, Burn a Car and you can imagine where this is going....
A lot like in Good Fella's with Henry Hill and Joe Pesci, you get older and get more involved.. It was no big deal.... It was Normal... It felt like everyone was in on some sort of racket.

4) The scene in the Bar with the Bikers, I have many different versions of that type of story, the part with Pesci getting hit with a bat over a parking spot, stuff on that level very common, All of C's friends acting like wanna bee's, there was a crew of wannab'ees on every avenue.
5) To the part where Sunny gets whacked in the bar, every so often there was a body in the street, or someone disappeared.
6) Goodfella's when Henry Hill was young and the cab stand, again the ineratcion between the younger and older generation.
7) The God Father being the old timers in the neighborhood and how they would act all dressed in suits like business men.
8) Scar Face the newer generation running around selling drugs

There was a side to it that was very neighborhoody you knew just about everyone and everyone knew you and your family.
Everyone watched out for everyone. For the most part.

You grew up fast and the neighborhood taught you lessons like respect,
Respect your elders, respect woman, children

Mind your business, Keep your mouth shut
Never talk to cops

And if you didn't learn your lesson you would end up in a trunk.
Most learned...

It was a lot of fun
At times scary, sometimes VERY SCARY
Some really sad storys as well...

I would imagine Philly was like a mini version of what I described above??

Bronx tale was a knock off of the Goodfellas with a little different twist. Some of the lines and actions in the Tale were corny. I love the movie but its half a copy.

I agree certain parts were cheesy

I was more giving the background of the story line

Of the parts i could relate to

In one case:

The actor that played "SLICK" when they were teenagers his name is Joe Dinofrio
Joey Zane I grew up with him in bensonhurst

He wasn't so much acting as he was re-inacting his teenage years in bensonhurst

He was a very big graffitti artist back then ZANE was his tage name

He was from the Bay Parkway Boys, B.P.B.

He was very close to Richie Greaves AKA Richie Bes was his tag name
Zane and Bes they tagged all over Brooklyn, the Trains, Train Stations, Buses and Garbage trucks.

They were both close to Lil Dino and Joey Caves Competello

Richie Greaves was the one they killed in the basement

The other part from Brox tale where Joey Zane was really re-living his younger years was he had his own Graffitti crew, White Boys Run Shit -- WRS

They fought with, Ricans Won Shit the RWS crew from Sunset Park Brooklyn

In the Bronx Tale he was fighting with African Americans

So some of the parts were very real

you really lived in a tough spot biggie smalls raps n talks about Bensonhurst. The area shared by Italians and Black folk sounds like. you grew up next to it, u really know how the operation works.. the stories that must come from that place are endless. and the stuff you never know about. Ashame there wasn't more work or something elese to interst you for people in that area, back then.

Sonny,

Crazy shit
The craziest part was that it all seemed normal like there was nothing wrong with..

We were numb to it all, it just didn't phase us

As I got older I realized it wasn't normal I avoid all that as best I can nowadays

The last I heard Tommy Mclaughlin was upset with his cousin Tommy Shots they shouted at each other when Mclaughlin was getting off the stand after he testified he said something like how's Richie Bes, Gioli shouted back hows Joe Caves...

The other side of that all I seen some good familes destroyed and torn apart over nonesense thatis the part you never read about.

The kids growing up with out fathers the wives with out husbands

I totally get what ya mean and yes we had neighborhoods like that as well...where I'm from in Peoria it's always been known as Little Chicago it's made up of 4 sections the North End, South End, East Bluff, and West Bluff...I grew up on the Westside and my neighborhood was known as The Hilltop back then... It was never so much races havin beefs with each other but more each neighborhood of kids would just go at it anywhere or any reason ...for example we were known for "bag snatching" on especially we would cross over one of the main streets that split the East and West Bluffs called Forrest Hill Avenue and when street lights came on whatever kids were still out we start stealing bags from kids until the kids that we were lookin for found us or we would eventually run into them and would have huge fights that would talked about the following weeks thru out the other neighborhoods... I loved it...like you said back then you were numb a lot to what was going on around you I know a lot of kids who have died by senseless killings some well known gangsters and some outstanding athletes in highschool who would get caught in wrong place at wrong time...then again I grew up in a bar my father owned in the South End and he would always let Outlaws drink there and later on years later he held there annual Xmas party for there kids and families at a banquet hall he operated...he loved the relationship he had with them especially at the bar because they brought in so many people that would spend money...but the small twist in things is my mother was Italian not my father he is Lebanese... My mother passed in 98 from leukemia... Worst of the worst of cancers...hence why I don't trust doctors anymore.... But all in all don't mean to get carried away haha but ya your stories of the neighborhood remind me of mine as well your are just much more higher on the shelf then mine in my opinion lol.

Completley different? Are you kidding Nicky? The story line, the narative, the growing up in the nab, travel true time...etc. it's def a knock off, and don't get me wrong I love the movie very much but good fellas did it first, and the fellas is more complex that's why it's regarded as one of the best movies ever and its a 5 time better movie than the Tale.

Just from how people talk about it, I dont think guys that haven't been here understand Chicago actually is pretty similar to NY. Only real difference, and this is from New Yorkers I've met is it's very segregated compared to NY...

He says in there that Ligambi has been and may still be involved in garbage in South Jersey/Philly, which i was suprised to read. I didnt think philly guys were involved in garbage... anyone know more about this and if its still true? I think if i remember correctly Uncle Joe was nebrr indicted for that, maybe gaming company?

Cabarini;

From what I had seen it was much cleaner than say Manhatten.

That was the first thing that stood out in my mind.

The highrise biildings seemed a little smaller.

I really really liked it.

Sonny;

Long time ago I do not even remmeber where I ate.

Lucali's yes GREAT pizza

That is in Carroll Gardens one of most beautiful neighborhoods in Brooklyn, it is about 7 minutes outside of manhatten.

That is where Joe Gallo's crew operated from way back when.
And more recently Boriello Jr's Body guard that Gas had killed.
Benny as well all from that neighborhood.

Benny he is an animal

He will kill you in 2 minutes and not think about it.

His younger brother Anthony is about to get sentenced for that 20MM Bank Robbery..

I cannot believe these guys pulled something like that off..

I remember when he was a kid he was doing nickel and dime stuff

I guess he graduated when I read they found $2MM in duffler bag in his apartment.

Me personally I would be more sick about the Feds taking back the money I sent than the 7 years he going to serve for robbinhg it.

Yes, the majority of Bronx Tale is about racial tension and dating outside of your race, Goodfellas has none of that in it. Maybe the beginnings in both are slightly similar, but maybe that would have to do with Deniro directing Bronx Tale and starring in Goodfellas.

Both similar in the sense it was narriated by the star of the movie..

G.F. Henry Hill
B.T. Lilo Brancato

It tells the story from childhood growing up in the streets on NYC

it really is a matter of opinion

You could say B.X. copies off of G.F.

Or you could say one is based off a true story the other is not.

Sonny;

The only person I seen him not get out of his face with was Black Dom
Black Dom is a MONSTER...

Those two were about to go..

If that would have happened I think one of them would probably not be here today..

He didn't back down but he wasn't like he usually is with everyone else

Wow hah and that's Dom Dionisio correct....Benny just seems really arrogant especially didn't do something or had relationship on purpose with the prosecutor in order to throw the case off or something like I read something I can't remember fully....guys like Benny and Dom I think are hard to come by nowadays.... Then again Chicago has had some monsters in the past as well like Albie Vena brother in law Chuckie Russell ...this guy Chuckie raped a woman and then threw her out of a second story apartment window and killed her....like really ...your a flipping monster Chuckie. I remember seeing a pic of Black Dom couple years back.

Yeah
That is Bonelli with the prosecutor I am pretty sure
Both Legit Tuff Guys
Dom more down to earth he wouldn't kill you over spilling a drink on him

Benny not so sure

I read about Vena seems like he is very powerful in CHI-TOWN
I read an article from a couple of years ago and the feds were quoted that were going to indict him any day now.
This has be like 5 years ago now.

I don't know what he is A.B.? seems to be having a long run on the streets.
Russell, interesting how in CHI I read they make non-Italians, is Russell one of them? Made Guy that isn't Italian?

Correct... They are known to have made guys who are not Italian which bugs me and then doesn't bug me so much at times just depends on the guy overall really you guys like Chuckie Russell who married into and got involved that way Chuckie is real mean mothertrucker lol prolly mostly because of being close to Vena he is pretty vicious alone by himself...Albie married one of Tony Spilotro niece so I'm sure Vena got his meanness from Tony...I have a feeling this new FBI guy really has something on Vena which is why he came out in the papers and said who he was targeting idk if to be arrogant or what but....I think Vena is considered a Street Boss more so then a actual AB role... And then again you have guys like Jeff Hollingshead who is cousins with Chris Spina... And this Hollingshead guy and girl friend flipped and these two there story is the basically knew too much of how things worked day to day which I don't understand why they would be let known so much information to begin with....there are more non Italians too I will look in my notebooks and get the rest I know about for ya but it pretty much give or take with that sort way of doing things is how I look at it.... Another real mean SOB was a guy named Frank Schweihs "The German" he died rite before the big Family Secrets Case started I guess you could say he's a lucky bastard haha he was apart a lot stuff that happened within the past 15 years.

Chuckie was caught on a wire telling a guy how much he gets off on putting a gun to somebody's head and taking what's there's and making it his lol .... So you can assume his type of personality.

They got sidetracked!

Tell you what if the Feds don’t crack this case with all the half as rats they have I will be surprised that they don’t come up with something.

It’s very obvious that Philly is making money and is supported a quite a lot of guys for years now and if it keeps up , well let’s just say it may just turn back into a functioning mob family on all levels.

A slightly off topic question but didn't want to start a new thread. Just curious if anyone has any info on Dom's old man, Wayne. His story seems to have fallen off the map. I know he flipped, but there is zero info out there as to why, when, and who he flipped on.

Nothing makes any sense with this

I mean these guys should fear their own Adim more than anyone else

You do something like that with out permission while the boss is on trial for his life and your days should be numbered

I mean the whole basis of their defense was that the MOB in Philly did not exist anymore and that the case was B.S. NO VIOLENT CRIMES?? LOL...

And this happens...
WTF...

Nicodemo talked to Merlino and Mazzone about it when Merlino was in town for his father’s funeral.

Good point Ted. Even when a mobster is facing or on trial, he is always making sure he is informed about what is happening on the street.

Dom has been living it up in Margate this whole entire summer, spending a lot of time at the Shore this year.

Is that because he has a trusted individual handling his book back in South Philadelphia, or because there is less of a book to handle back in South Philadelphia, what with legalized gambling at Monmouth Park and the new AC place that Marky Mark is a partner in opening up (the old revel)?

That makes no difference it’s a 40 - 50 minute ride down AC expressway..... and for most part nobody wants to put up the cash first and if they do they only do it once or twice then just walk a half of block and put the bet in the neighborhood.

I was literally sitting at The Ocean Resort in AC’s sportsbook Tuesday night and I still put my action in with my guy because I don’t want to front the money. I have yet to use a legit sportsbook here in Jersey.

Hell of a pedigree. Dad was a drug dealer who set up his own wife's brother, then went into WPP w/o family. "Pedigree." Lol. Then the kid, instead of making something out of his life, falls into the same dead-end pit. But he has "pedigree." The b-level fan-fic written about these guys would be humorous if not so scary. He'll be doing life before he's 45 and still some guy in Minnesota will be reading a flowerly farewell to the end of his "life on the street." So weird.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Pungitores are still active. It's just a matter of time before they get indicted.

None of yous know what your talking about. Ant made a stupid mistake and now Noel is raising Vienna and Anthony by herself for the next 40 years. And do me a favor and stop calling him Baby Dom and Tony Nicks because David Ratweizer called them that. Nobody call them that.

Hoodlum,

Sorry just read ur text.

Haven't been on here in a while I need to try to activate the message alert feature so I can know if someone responds to my messge.

As for being young I guess that is relative to who you are speaking I am mid 40's.

Yes born and raised in BensonHURST family came from Sicily.

Being Italian and from BensonHURST there was no way to not at least be in the know, it was just everywhere.

Large Italian family there are/we're the family that were part of it.

Growing up we all idolized these guys looked up to them and wanted to be them.

We thought they had it all.
Women, Money, Respect, Power...

So than the time comes where you get involved in a small way..

They ask you to break a window, and then burn a car etc...

As you get more life experience you see what happens to those who open their mouth, or those who dont listen to what they are told by them.

You have a friend or two that turns up dead or a friends father or older brothers.

You have some friends that get locked up and go.away.

As You get older

You have a choice to make for some it was too late

They got in over their head and there was no way out.

Some had to leave and never come back.
Their families destroyed.

SCARY SHIT when the guys at the club are deciding your fate. Or when you get called in by a guy or guys that you know murdered people.

No where to turn your only option is hopefully you know someone from that life, someone who is legit not just a wannabe. That will stand up for you.

You go to the cops the whole neighborhood would turn against you.
You and ur family will end up getting abused until you moved away.

Thank God it's not like that anymore.

It's not 10% of what it was.

It's not dead but to get caught up now you really wanted to get involved and have no one to blame.

Even so no one is getting killed today so even the threat of.

You have guys that ratted and are still.around today and nothing happens to them.
