That actually looks good. I'll have to try find it online.

Sorry for my crappy quoting skills.

It won't change your life, but it's a fun couple of hours.
EDIT: Jeez, now I've messed up the quoting too.

If he is in LA that sounds like a good life.

I've always wanted to live in LA but I'm not from the US so I can't move there because US has strict immigration laws:(

Why Neo ? Where you come from ? I think that if you had a job or money can go in the US. Unfortunately I don't have the money.

It's 41% at Rotten Tomatoes, but the story looks good.

Quote
Two elderly criminals spend their final night in Los Angeles, California at the Golden Eagle Hotel prior to their departure to Las Vegas, Nevada, to lead a life without crime. Unfortunately, on the hottest night of the summer, these two ex-criminals seemingly get caught in the malice of prostitutes, pimps, drunken bums, fighting monkeys, and young runaways.

Netflix DVD has it.

"...the successful annihilation of organized crime's subculture in America would rock the 'legitimate' world's foundation, which would ultimately force fundamental social changes and redistributions of wealth and power in this country. Meyer Lansky's dream was to bond the two worlds together so that one could not survive without the other." - Dan E. Moldea

Sounds like an indie take on Kirk Douglas's Tough Guys.

I visited LA for a holiday and loved it so I've always wanted to move there. I'm from New Zealand. Nobody can move to the US to live unless they are married to an American citizen.

I cant imagine him being in movies did all that much for his street credits
And sitting down with other families

I would imagine they looked at him like he was a joke

I could picture other wiseguys saying are you a movie star or a wiseguy...

Night at the Golden Eagle DVD just came in from Netflix. I'll come back with an up or down vote, no spoilers.

Former LA associate-turned-informer Kenji Gallo knew him in the 90s and didn't like him. Said he was a wife basher. He must have continued to hang around Colombo and LA family wiseguys when he retired in the 90s and 2000s. But, with his movie ventures and other legitimate interests I have heard about, it seems he wasn't a real criminal during this time and was more of a 'player.'

When he was called back to NY in 2011, it's anyone's guess what other wiseguys thought of him. He was called back in as acting underboss because of the big busts. But it's common knowledge that Don Carmine was his best friend, and he probably knew most recent street boss Andy Russo pretty well too.

The Italian girl is a US citizen I assume. Yeah that is the only way one is able to live and work in the US.

Your cousin is a lucky guy being able to live in the US.

Donnie Shacks and Carmine were a hit team in which Donnie would cross-dress as a girl and him and Carmine would pretend they were on a date to defuse suspicion from Gallos. Crazy shit.

Rochester did indeed split from Buffalo in the late 1960s and became an independent family. To answer OP's question, Rochester also merged back with Buffalo after the family collapsed through an internal street war and RICO convictions around the early 1990s.

@Frank' I believe they did merge back with Buffalo and still have a few members who answer to Buffalo today. Do you have any evidence that details the re-merger?
