The best for sure was Sean Connery but my favorite Bond was Roger Moore.

Live and Let Die being my favorite Bond film..

True, but GOLDENEYE was the first Bond I ever saw and it's still one of my favorites, along with GOLDFINGER and CASINO ROYALE.

Growing up in the UK, the Bond films would be on every Sunday afternoon. So i have an affection for the Connery and Moore films as they where apart of my childhood watching the repeats..

Well, tho I do not dislike the Bond films, I'll say up front that I've only seen a few and am not a die hard fan. I am guessing that Sean Connery would beat them all out and he was fine. The one person who I thought was good was Pierce Brosnan. Years ago, he had a tv show called "Remington Steele". I remember way back then thinking he'd be a good Bond. Suave, debonair etc.

Most people think the best actor in any movie that has been the one that made the movie a success to begin with.

I am no different so I say Sean Connery.

Pierce Brosnan. I had a crush on him for a long time after I saw him in Die another Day, my first Bond film. All the others who played Bond were good , but looks aside, Pierce Brosnan is the best actor of the group.

When I was a kid and watched Bond movies I liked Connery, despised Moore and was indifferent about Brosnan.

Would have liked more Dalton.

Pierce Brosnan was spot on in Goldeneye. I blame his other films on the scripts, not on the actor.

Always partial to Roger Moore, as he was the one I watched growing up. Had the perfect blend of action, suaveness, and humor for my taste. Connery was probably "better" but Moore is my favorite.

Daniel Craig is good for what this era calls for, but I miss the suave, winking Bond. Craig is always so serious.

Connery because he defined the Bond role and had the advantage of making the first Bond-ers, which were closest to the novels. After "Thunderball," they tended to go off the edge. Best: "From Russia with Love," which was also the best novel.
Roger Moore was ok as Bond in "Live and Let Die."

I've got a soft spot for License to Kill.
The Brosnan movies are hot garbage.

GoldenEye is one of my favorites, if not favorite, and I think Brosnan nailed that Bond. I like the Russian mob angle to the movie. 006, thought to be deceased, now the head of a shadowy crime syndicate based in St. Petersburg. To meet with him, 007 must seek out an Ex-KGB operative turned crime boss, who “competes” with the Janus syndicate.

The Bond portrayed by Connery in films like Goldfinger and From Russia are undeniably memorable too. I even like some of the goofy ones like Moonraker. That’s not to say Moore is a goofy Bond...

- For reasons of personal nostalgia, Brosnan #1 (even if everything after GE sucked)
- For historical or proper reasons, maybe a “definitive” Bond, Connery #2
- Roger Moore would be my runner up
