The fact that overseas exchanges have risen higher to that of the US proves that the Obama's domestic economic policies were a failure.
The economy crashed in 2008 under Bush's watch, it had no way to go but up.
Furthermore you are comparing 8 years of Obama policies to 1 year of Trump's.Recent stock markets gains are attributed to Trump not could be attributed.

Now about Guns a crazy kid in NJ threatened a school in East Brunswick a few days ago.

The governor of NJ ASSIGNED A retired cop in every school inthat town. Better then a security guard. Plus the fbi got the kid in custody already.

So they are trying to do something although it was a little late for those kids in Florida unfortunately

Gun control and the border are 2 separate issues in my view. If you tighten the border, less illegal immigrants, less drugs, and less guns coming and going. The gun control aspect of border security is a fringe benefit. Again, i agree that border security is a must.

Back to Trump and the economy.. the market took off like a rocket when he got elected. That was due to Trumps pro business agenda. Obama got into office at a stock markey low, it really had no where to go but up. The feds intervention, bank bailouts, and artificially controlled low interest rates was the reason, not Obama. A year after he was elected, wages finally started moving up.

The problem is not law enforcement ,the problem are those leftist liberals that took over the democratic party and those activists judges that allow these criminals to roam the streets.

If there are laws on the books, and people are still breaking them at will, without fear of consequence, then the problem is with law enforcement.

There really is a Trump tweet for everything...

I must say I do appreciate the irony of people that think teachers at public schools are part of a Marxist plot to indoctrinate the youth of America wanting to arm those teachers.

All God's children are not beautiful. Most of God's children are, in fact, barely presentable.

I never met anyone who didn't have a very smart child. What happens to these children, you wonder, when they reach adulthood?

I don’t like arming teachers. I rather they arm retired cops instead like they just did in a town in New Jersey and the fbi already picked up a kid who threatened a school their.

I think the fbi head in Florida should be out right fired. Everyone knew that kid was nuts including other students. The people that took that kid into their house after his adopted mother died should be arrested as well. For not reporting him especially when he bought guns and they knew he was not right.

Yeah, maybe the armed retired cops on campus will do as good of a job as law enforcement nationwide when it comes to enforcing gun laws. If this is this case, the mass shootings will probably increase. The retired cops looking to recapture their old glory will be too busy harassing weed smokers and black students (like old times) to even notice the white kid with the confederate flag t-shirt walking right by them with a loaded AR-15.

Go look at the post of what the Mexicans can accomplish with their wonderful law enforcement. I've a great idea, leave the USA! You don't like it here, you're afraid of white people, you hate the cops, and you can't give credit where it is deserved. I'm going to assume your mommy spent money on crack rocks and that out prioritized her birth control, you never knew your dad, you have numerous siblings with the same predicament, and one day when you were walking minding your own business a cop stopped you and instead of following commands and proving your innocence, you made a big scene and got your ass handed to you. So, how do you fix all these problems you have with this country? Solution: Move!

Hey a democrat governor did that. You ever been arrested or stopped and frisked? I have I have a reason to hate cops what is yours.

But I also have Grand children and I want them to be safe in school and out if school. So people even me put up with that shit to keep them safe.. I don’t know any kkk guys never even saw one have you?

I have seen people in Germany Germany kids who think they are wise guys. Until you stick your fingers in their eyes then they turn respectful in an elevator. But then the wife gets mad at you not them.

How old do you think they are you go in at 20 retire at 40. So they are not old. What do retired cops do they work in security in shopping malls or they become handy men. Why not work in a school.

What is the attraction of social media I am not on any of them. A friend asked me to join LinkedIn what ever that was. I asked him why he is an engineer a smart guy when I was a kid. I told him why would you want a retired thief on that.

I am not on tweeter or Facebook I have no interest in that. I find social media us not really social.

Plus my son is on that he made the mistake of mentioning he voted for trump. S lot of people took him off their friend list.

I told him with friends like that who needs enemies.

I have very few friends living I had few friends as a kid. It hard to be a friend of mine. I still have a lot of soccer acquaintances not friends. We never talk politics because sports and everything else does not mix with politics.

So much for Foots' idea of having armed cops on campus.

The cop who was on duty at Douglas shit his pants and deserted the kids. .

Quote
When Nikolas Cruz started shooting last week at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High, an armed deputy stationed at the Florida school rushed to the building.

But instead of entering, the officer waited outside for four minutes as the gunman killed students and faculty inside, authorities said.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/23/us/florida-school-shooting/index.html

I think we're going to see an increased discussion in this country regarding law enforcement and their role in mass shootings. Their apathy can be identified in just about every case. Whether it's repeated visits to the shooter's home resulting in no action taken, despite signs of erratic behavior, failure to investigate online activity, failure to enforce gun laws on the books, or, now, outright derelict of duty during incidents.

It's possible this officer could have saved most, if not ALL of the lives that were lost if he'd performed his duty. There is no end around at this point for police apologists. Law enforcement is as much to blame as anything.

Oaks,

Just because one cop is a coward does not mean they all are.

Retired cops, veterans and teachers interested being trained will make a big difference.

I am appalled at your reaction to Foots' idea, it almost seems that you are proud that it failed to score a political point.

There never will be a fail safe solution but having armed security at schools will diminish the frequency of school shootings.

I think the guy that stayed out side will probably hang himself soon. Or someone will help him do it.

His family must be very proud of him.

Maybe if the cop had relatives in the school he would have went in any way. Maybe that is how they should do it.

I might even volunteer to do it if it was in an area where I live.

What did Obama or the democrats do about gun control when they were in control of both houses. I'll tell you they did "balls" like they usually do.
All you leftist like to do is play the victim, blame someone else, yell out words like racism, misogynist and walk around with vaginal hats and accuse the dog for eating your homework. More and more people are getting wise to the bullshit spewing out of liberal mouths.

About a week ago I got called by Rasmussen that poll always favor demicrates not trump.

The girl doing the poll was an idiot. She asked me about what I thought about Como that is the name she asked about instead of gov Cuomo for president in 2020.

Then she asked the same question about DeBlasio you know what I said about him.

She asked me if I was a democrat or republican. The only reason she kept the info was I said democrat.
