I will check if they have it at my local beer store, Blue Point has some good brews. I was doing yard work at my aunt's house last weekend and she had Leinenkugel's Grapefruit Shandy which was really good also

A friend of mine's son took Beer tasting at Florida State University, its an approved elective course, and said that its best to buy beer in a can than a bottle. Cans are supposedly better protect and preserve the beer from the sun and the elements. I neber heard this before and personally I don't like beer in cans. I'm going to stick to Bud Light bottles.

I always prefer Beer from the Tap, but also from the bottle.

However, beer in tin cans from a loaded ice cooler in the Summer is really a treat, so cold.

I probably posted on this a few times. In Germany the Germans with money don't drink German beer they drink check beer.

I have not been able to drink beer since I was a kid. When the neighboor hood started to turn from Italian to Puerto Rican. These PR's began drinking beer in our hallways. Beside that they would piss and throw up in the hallway.

So I got that beer smell, with the piss smell and the throw up smell in my head. Every time I smell beer. So I can't be near the stuff.

I had a Three Philosophers on New Years Eve, it was pretty damn good. Almost 10% alcohol though, its no joke. I'm sure there's a website where you can find places that have it.

I like Trader Joe's Plzner (correct spelling). Very dry, just the right amount of bitterness.

I've been to the brewery a few times, cool place actually turned part of the property onto concert grounds. They grow a small amount of hops on the property. Good brews at concerts they sell beer for 5 dollars which pant bad considering prices at other venues

May have a place near by that will make it possible for the big game.

I have heard that place is great, it's upstate NY. I am on the island so that is doable one day.

For the past couple of years I've been drinking a lot of local beers. My favorite local beer is Good People Snake Handler. It's a double IPA with a 10 abv that is only canned a couple of times a year so it makes it hard to buy at the store or even specialty beer shops. I also tried and liked a beer out of Brooklyn by Sixpoint brewery called Resin. It's also a double IPA with a 9.1 abv that's really good but too expensive to buy on a regular basis. But when I'm watching a game with my father-in-law we typically drink Budweiser.

Sound like some really good beers.

Love the six point, they have a bar on Varrick st. In NYC, that has every six point brew on tap.

My brothers drink Bud as their swill beer, I prefer Miller lite for that in the yard BBQin on a hot day for a swill.

It's summer. Those crisp wheat beers and Hefes go down good. I've really been in the Hefes in the past couple of weeks. Starting with Erdinger Weissbier, which was on sale at my store. Not to strong in taste but then again I'm not a fan of too much taste in the first place, especially in the hotter months. So, I'm not an IPA person, which makes me a minority these days. lol. Right now I'm drinking Widmer's American style Hefe, which also is a little light in the taste department but still a nice, smooth drink.

Also, what suggestions does anyone have for Italian imports? All that's available at my store is Peroni, which I thought tasted like most of the other popular euro lagers, like St. Paulie Girl, Stella, etc. Give me some recommendations so the next time I go to SF I can look for some, because I know I won't have much luck out here in Sacramento (Elvis Country) lol.

Hops aren't for everyone, been drinking Corona's and a lager from a local brewery they aren't rich and heavy so very nice by the pool.

I've had the pleasure of visiting Bavaria the beer from the area would be right up you alley. I'm pretty sure my buddies and I started with beer instead of coffee lol

Trader Joe's has a really good house brand hefeweitzen with just the right balance. Only $5.99 for a six-pack.

I still like Pyramid Apricot Ale as a summer brew.

There's a Trader Joe's on the way home from my job. Might have to check that out. 5.99 a 6 pack. I can only assume it's too good to be true that it's that price in Cali. Still worth a try.

Lately I'm into flavored ales. In addition to Pyramid Apricot, I really like Ommegang Rosetta and Hanger 24 Orange Wheat.

What’s up Beans........

Still drinkin those?

Try a Back Woods Bastard from Founders Brewery.

It’s like drinking a beer with a whisky shot in it.

Having one now.

I've been Fucking around with the IPA's for the last couple of years now. For the last few months I've been favoring Sierra Nevada's tropical torpedo. But, I can never turn down a Heineken or St. pauli girl.
