Good question Scalish.. i too wonder where the Chees man and Matty Gugs stand in the hierarchy? I thought I remembered Scott writing an article that since Matty got out he was appointed consigliere and was the highest ranking mobster in Providence...

I'll see if I can find the article.. anyone have some insider info?

Seems like Carmen has so much respect for Peter that he'd never pull the title from him-all that time he did he deserves the respect....gotta imagine it's Cheese pulling the strings in a street boss capacity.....Makes sense to have Matty in the big chair in RI .....wonder where his brother and Spucky stand......seems overall they're doing ok these days. Good to see u chime in Russo.

Peter Limone risk the eletric chair in the 1960s and made 33 years as innocent for the deegan murder,he deserve respect only for this and for went back to life after spend so many time in prison and with 20 milion as compensation,as second thing in this time is better that someone else keep the boss title so as said in the sopranos "When the lightning will strikes, will strike someone who does not have a family".

Furio, I think you're wrong with Anthony D. He was only acting boss because Carmen was doing time. Carmen is and will be above him even when he gets out. It wouldn't surprise me if Matty G. stood third in line behind Limone and Carmen for the head job. He is one of the longest serving members.

from what my buddy in Boston hears (and he hears plenty) Limone is the figure head, no real say or responsible but very revered, adored and respected. He's not as sick as portrayed but he doesn't hang in the North End and participate in sit-downs either, lol...he's enjoying life.

It's the cheeseman at the top and Matty as consigliere for now, they are a small family and don't need a full administration and from what my friend hears Anthony Parillo will get a top spot when he gets back out. In the meantime, Joe Achille fills in where needed.

Why this look like in the sopranos while Tony put junior in charge as front boss for avoid the feds ?

So this is the thing as I said before about vininie biago and few other guys that's "not active" the thing is that people won't know unless they KNOW is they are involved. So when the old man isn't as active or involved as it may seem; I mean Boston is small and that life smaller right and a lot more random and risky etc. For example biago deals with vinny dee dee Simone spucky and the older guys who are in depth from the inside of their hearts not just to make a dollar or do it because it's hand in hand with the lifestyle. They been through a lot and the old days are over the rats are winning. So the old man is the same remember besidesa couple of guys even in his indictment with the gambling there weren't any known guys involved unless you KNOW know what I mean. So when there are sit downs that's what the acting or underboss is for you know: the blanket everyone doesn't. Red to deal directly with the man it's pointless. He deals with some of the capos and the dinunzios. Before he got involved again carm was no 2 to mannochio then when the old man stepped in he stayed under and acting meaning everything goes through him and the old man is the head the final word. And now that spunk and parrilo are away and held important seats they been replaced with one person who's seat was just being filled in and the other that needed a great fill in and matty is the man respected globally and is in to death indebted in him during birth know what I mean it's all he knows unles brothers father. And when cheese went away who took his spot his brother, when Mannochio weren't away and gave up the seat the old man took it, when the brother went away who took it spunk a longtime guy under Russo granito Rizzo Granito all stand up men of men guys so it's only right he be the acting guy to run the ship right and a guy the head cylinders deal with and trust like a Biago and Vinny and Mannochio and a guy who provoke under and upcoming will listen too. Strategic moves you ask me until the people came home and got in control. Old man no 1 cheese back at 2 and acting meaning everything goes through him and Matty who has providence in his palms and all the respect at no 3. That's the for people that if your involved besides your skipper theyre word is final and their positions are mounted ..... Boston is in the rise guys they have alot of figure heads along with some good underclassmen coming in interesting these years ahead

peter isn't mumbling around a nursing home with dementia..he may be sick, but I do believe the reports of Dementia are not accurate..that being said..no one is really sitting down, nothing to sit down over..peter talks to a few guys, that guys like vinny, or bobby c (who is legitimately sick) would never talk to, and I don't mean hes doing anything illegal, I mean he talks to them..far as vinny only loaning to made guys or the illusion that vinny don't talk to any one he don't know well, couldn't be further from the truth, look at his wedding guest lists, ahaha, legit business, street guys, half rats etc...

What is the deal with Anthony Parrillo? Hasn't even been confirmed that he's a made guy. But it seems like he has to at this point if he has a seat in the administration when he gets out. How did he rise up?

great question, I have heard no, and I have heard yes..no one questions his balls though, just whether he has a badge..dont now much on providence current..russo, your thoughts on parillo?...ill say this, eddie didn't get a long stretch, in my opinion, eddie does great time, got balls, and will do what he pleases when he came home...he already did what he pleases inside with Anthony D lol

The poster n.e. said he wasnt made that guy scott b had him as a number 3. I disagree bigg. That guy eddie got 8 yrs thats kinda big bid. But whatever. He was on tape calling anthony a dumbass for spliting all the shake down strip club money with mark rosetti and someone else. I think everyone but that guy eddie has been released since bobby deluca taped them all. Maybe anthony d gets out this year or might be in a halfway. Frank salemmi trial will be interesting the feds are gonna expose all the rats from the 90tys that may have still been in there holes today.

Nobody can question if Matty G is the real deal, I think he has proven that. He spent a good amount of time behind bars and hit the bricks running when he got out and off of restriction too.

pmac, disagree with what? I'm confused....he was also called up to the northend when on paper, and a rat drove him, hence the animosity, do you know what happened inside? I'm confused as to what you disagree with, that eddie will do what he pleases? I didn't say he would be a boss or anything, but no one will tell him what to do, that's for sure..
