'Karim B. tried to siphon off money in Thailand' February 3, 2024
Karim “Taxi” B., who was arrested in Marbella, Spain at the end of January , tried to hide from the police and rival criminals, including in the Dominican Republic and Thailand. He did this according to various Spanish media after his brother Samir “Scarface” B. was murdered on the Costa del Sol in 2014. And in 2017 there was the deadly attack in Marrakech, where a judge's son was mistakenly killed.
Thailand Karim's brother “Scarface” B. headed a large network that imported cocaine into Europe. Karim B. fled to the Dominican Republic after 2017 and invested in real estate there. He also tried to do that in Thailand, and in Melilla, the Spanish enclave in Morocco. According to the National Police in Spain, he used the Spanish embassy in Thailand through contacts.
The criminal organization he is suspected of running in Spain is said to have laundered drug money from Spain on an international scale. That Spanish investigation started in June 2018. 172 real estate objects have now been seized by the Spanish authorities.
The Hague The Netherlands has requested the extradition of Karim B. in connection with a drug investigation in The Hague.
The question is whether B. will first go to the Netherlands or will first be tried in Spain.

Requests in Marengo case rejected by court | Judgment date remains unchanged February 8, 2024 The court in Amsterdam decided on Thursday to only use newly submitted documents by the Public Prosecution Service in the Marengo case as evidence if they are exculpatory. The scheduled date for the case's ruling remains in place.

Delano G., the suspected gunman in the attack on Peter R. de Vries, is a cousin of Joey W.
The Central Netherlands Public Prosecution Service cannot say much about the current investigation into the double murder, because it is currently a 'cold case'. The murdered duo Vos and Zillig appeared to have been active in the drug world for years. According to police, the pair had an appointment at the hotel about narcotics. Ultimately, they were coldly shot right in front of dozens of restaurant guests.

Lawyer Guy Weski says there is no point in saying one last word on behalf of Achraf B.: "Your verdict is probably already on the shelf and what he says will no longer have any influence." Achraf B. only wants to say 'that he has never had access to life and death'.
Judgment in the Marengo case will follow on February 27.
Three men were today convicted on appeal for the murder of Rachid Kotar in December 2019. Jonathan C., previously sentenced to 25 years in prison, received 28 years in prison.
