Listen to the epiphany project feathering Bet Williams. I met her in Germany some of these songs were song in Aramaic the language that Jesus Christ spoke.
Got friendly with her and her husband he is playing the piano.
They sang in church at my Grand sons baptism.
Later we rented a boat and had his party on the boat they sang on the boathouse as well.
I thought the album was pretty good broaden your horizons.
Gets, this is especially for you. Remember how we were talking about back when we were young teens, breakdancing, popping, locking, and beatboxing were popular. Well, I found this interesting video on Doug E. Fresh and also a couple other vids going back to that time period. Hope you are well. Here they are:
Speaking of Eric Clapton, I was watching Malice a few days ago, the 1993 Alec Baldwin flick. There's a bar scene where Alec is there with two ladies and Clapton is playing in the background. Ultimate chillout music. It was this one....

Ah, the late great Johnny Ace--killed himself (probably accidentally) with a pistol while on tour. "Pledging My Love" is heard in "Mean Streets." That movie had a great Doo Wop soundtrack.

Wow!! Looking at that album, I see it's in "mono". Ha ha. Remember when you could buy a record in either stereo or mono, with stereo being the preference of course. I think most of my old albums are mono.
Noting some of the songs on that album. I remember they'd play "Be True To Your School" at pep rallies when I was in high school back in the stone age.
Memories!!!

I always thought that "victrola" was the Italian word for record player My Grandparents had the huge radio and record player that looked more like a piece of furniture than anything else. They would play all their old records, teach me how to dance the Lindy, I think that was what it was called. I'd do a side flip lol got pretty good at dancing. My Grandpa was an excellent dancer. He and my Grandma put on a record for me and did the Jitterbug in the living room parlor in their early 80's. I wish I would have taped it. They could really dance those two.
